We sell and consign name brand & designer resale clothing & accessories for guys and girls starting at all junior, adult and plus sizes. We strive for a friendly and inviting atmosphere with a super nice staff. We are certain you will get hooked once you try resale shopping. Items are put out daily so stop by often to find your resale treasures.

Are you interested in consigning? It's a great way to make extra money on clothes/accessories you no longer want. Did you know that you can make more money for each item by consigning instead of going to other resale stores that pay cash up front?
Here's how consignment works:
We consign your items for 90 days and price the items at 1/3 the full retail or approx 1/2 if the item is new with tags. If your item sells, you will receive 40% of the selling price or 50% if you want to use it as store credit. Your item will mark down 15% after 30 days and 25% after 60 days. You can pick up the unsold items when your consignment period is over.
But keep in mind we are really picky about the items we consign. Make sure your items are NAME BRAND, CLEAN, GREAT CONDITION and WRINKLE FREE. We are looking for current, trendy and classic vintage styles. Shoes need to be in new or almost new condition. Items do not need to be on hangers but they need to be ready to hang up. (don't bring in trash bags unless they are folded neatly). We take items every day except for Saturday. It's a good idea to call before you stop by so we can go over the brands with you. Give us a list of a few of your brands and we can tell you if that works with our resale store.

How it all started...My name is Marilyn Caskey and I am the owner of Garment Exchange. Resale has always been a part of my shopping experience and I realized my tween/teen kids didn't have many options for resale, so I opened June 2008 in Alamo Heights at the Carousel Court. In January 2010 we moved locations to Park Oaks Shopping Center. It's fun to watch the recycling process at work; people bringing in clothes to consign and customers taking them home to be loved again. Well, I also love to see designer items at great prices. So there's that too.
